Leisure 27 Shadowfax - for sale

Hello all,

We have put up Shadowfax for sale, offers around £10,750

I had quite a few plans to sail with family which never quite materialised in 4 years of ownership.
I know, misplaced expectations for our first boat, a beginner's error!
She is a 1979 Leisure 27, you may came across her with sail 241L. Highlights below

-Mechanical
Volvo Penta D1-20 20hp inboard diesel engine (2014/5 - new for 2015 season) with Volvo Penta S130 saildrive leg (2014/5 - new for 2015 season).
Volvo heat exchanger and gaskets replaced in April 2022. Raw water filter added 2022.
New engine throttle link cable in September 2023. 173 engine hours only.
Serviced by Althorne Marine on 2020, 2021 and by Practical Marine Solutions in 2022.

-Sails
Slab reefing mainsail (Kemp, 1999, serviced in 2022) with Packaway mainsail cover system.
Genoa roller reefing system with Kemp tri-radial Genoa (1999, serviced in 2022 and a new uv strip added).
Standing and running rigging replaced 2020.
All lines led aft to cockpit. Anodized alloy mast and spars and stainless steel standing rigging

-Electrical
Alternator charging to 2 x 12v 60Ah batteries (both new 2023).
240v shore power

-Navigation
Plastimo compass,
Navico Autopilot,
NASA Clipper echo sounder,
Standard Horizon Eclipse DSC VHF radio,
Garmin 555 Chart Plotter,
FM/AM radio with 2 speakers (new 2016), radar reflector

-Safety
2x Horseshoe lifebuoys with lights,
Odeo Electronic distress flare,
2 manual fire extinguishers, fire blanket, Carbon Monoxide Detector, manual bilge pump.

-Deck gear
blue sprayhood, cockpit canopy, cockpit cushions
tiller with Spinlock tiller extension,
4 sheet winches, 4 halyard winches (all serviced 2021),
25lb CQR main anchor with chain and warp. mooring warps and fenders.

Located at Bradwell Marina, the berth is fully paid until end of March-2024.

David Morris Brokerage is handling the sale. There are quite a few pictures in the website.

I am happy to add the dinghy and a Honda 2.3HP outboard to offers close to the asking price.
