Dusty but was in perfect working order when we put it in dry storage in 2007/2008 (we replaced the standing rigging on our L17 with a wooden mast, Gunter gaff).

Comes with wind vane, spreaders, shrouds (not sure about how much life left in them), old halyard (probably needs replacing), various bits of hardware, etc. Inspections welcome.

The original aluminium mast step is fractured, but a stronger tabernacle hinge is supllied and needs fitting (see photos).

Located in East Sussex. Buyer collects.

... to be clear: the forestay is already sold (and boom, and sails), this is just the mast and misc. ancillaries.

Hello, I see you are located in Ireland, is that correct? Would you be able to arrange shipping, or would you collect the mast yourself? (I'm in South East England)
Price-wise, looking at past sales here and on eBay/etc. I was thinking £120 ballpark figure, but happy to consider offers as long as fair for both buyer and seller (I have had a few time wasters already, unfortunately)

Hello, I haven't measured to double-check, but as far as I know this is the standard mast (20ft / 6.1m), not the optional extra long one (22ft / 6.7m)
Reading the notes from a previous owner, I see that both the original 1975 mast+boom were replaced in 1988 due to damage caused by the 1987 storm. I do not know the provenance of the replacement mast, but it has subsequently been used until 2007, at which point the person who took ownership put the aluminium mast+boom in storage as he replaced the entire standing rigging with a Drascombe sliding gunter gaff (wooden mast+spar, tan sails) which I continue to use to this day :)
The fracture on the mast foot occurred during delivery in 2007, ironically. I still have the small broken piece! As mentioned, I am supplying a replacement mast foot (stronger tabernacle design, as photographed).
